After collaborating together on a huge mural for POW! WOW! Hawaii 2014 artists Kamea Hadar and Defer have continued working together on an ongoing project they’ve entitled “Paradise Lost.” The project will see an upcoming show on Thursday August 7th, 2014 at 1st Amendment Gallery in San Francisco, California and will feature collaborative works on canvas by the two gifted artists. There will also be murals put up by the team around San Francisco and with future projects scheduled for Los Angeles, Israel and Hawaii. Continue below for a multitude of awesome images from Kamea and Defer’s murals all the way to the paintings for the upcoming San Francisco gallery show:
Personal piece. I originally started this piece as a digital one, but wound up going with traditional media. Took much longer, but I’m happier with the result. I’ll produce a limited run of canvas prints; the largest to be 36” x 24”. Also around 50 or so giclee prints.
Some fish for a client. Wahoo and bottle nose dolphin to follow.
If you suffer from a fear of robots and entomophobia like I do, then these clockwork bugs and spiders from artist Mike Libby take creepy to a whole new level. Otherwise, you can enjoy more of his work at the Insect Lab.
